The second part of the sixth Meet-up of the Center for Digital Construction Croatia entitled “Software in Focus: 3 Software, 90 Minutes” was held.

On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, three lectures by experts from the world of design were held at the premises of the University of Algebra, focusing on the use of three advanced BIM tools: Archicad, Allplan Konstrukterstvo and LINEAR.

The first 30 minutes of the Meet-up were marked by useful tips and tricks when working in the LINEAR software solution! In collaboration with mechanical engineer Ivana Kvesić, the Meet-up offered an overview of several of the most important possibilities for accelerating the design process through the use of LINEAR tools on the Revit platform.

The next lecture was given by Ivan Derežić, BIM Manager from Baldinistudio d.o.o. In his 30 minutes, he presented the capabilities of the Allplan Konstrukterstvo software, such as automatic reinforcement of walls, beams and columns, development of PERI formwork in Allplan, modification of reinforcement in the 3D environment and VisualScripting.

The last topic was the Archicad software, and the lecture was given by licensed architect Matija Kokot, B.A. in Architecture. Matija presented practical guidelines for using the tools in Archicad when creating building designs with the aim of adequately displaying drawings in the main and detailed design phases.

After the Meetup, an informal gathering at Beer & Technology was traditionally held, this time Powered by MPV – MI PROJEKTIRAMO VAMA.
