On Friday, January 30, the fourth strategic meeting of the Centre for Digital Construction Croatia (CDI) was held at the premises of Algebra University Bernays. The meeting brought together the Centre’s partners, representatives from industry, academia, and experts actively involved in the development and promotion of digital transformation in Croatia’s construction sector.

The central part of the meeting focused on presenting the results of the elections for the Centre’s new leadership, marking the start of a new four-year term for CDI’s governing bodies. Monika Mlakić was elected as the Chairperson of the Centre, while Marko Gašić was appointed Vice-Chairperson. The Centre’s Management Board now includes Katarina Sikavica, Maja-Marija Nahod, Maja Borovina Frankić, Dejan Dragić, Boško Mišlov, Ivo Krezić, and Joseph Mady. The General Assembly re-elected Goran Anić, Vedran Orešić, Filip Andabaka, Luka Zalović, and Damir Žaja to continue their work.

The new leadership expressed gratitude to partners and members for their trust and emphasized the importance of collaborative action in the period ahead. It was highlighted that CDI continues to aim to be a strong link between professional practice, academia, and the market, as well as a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices in the field of digital construction.

During the meeting, proposals for the Centre’s 2026 work program were presented. The program will soon be published on CDI’s official website and will include a series of activities aimed at further strengthening the sector’s competencies.

The strategic meeting concluded with an informal yet highly valuable professional segment – a site visit to the stadium construction on Kranjčevićeva Street. With the support of STRABAG Croatia, partners had the unique opportunity to witness a complex infrastructure project up close and to share insights on the practical application of modern technologies and digital solutions.

The fourth strategic meeting of CDI once again confirmed the importance of collaboration, open dialogue, and a shared vision in the development of digital construction in Croatia. The Centre for Digital Construction Croatia continues its mission of connecting, educating, and fostering innovation – with a clear focus on the sector’s future.
